Capturing Timeless Images Of Your One Beautiful Life

What to Wear for Your Portrait Session :

1) Don’t Match. Coordinate.

2) Choose a Color Palette, rather than a main color. Think about a palette of 3-4 colors. You may find it helpful to choose tones: blue tones, earth tones, neutrals, pastels. These flatter most skin tones and surroundings.

Some of my favorites? Neutrals, muted colors, jewel tones. I’m not suggesting an all beige and khaki photo , however.

If you live color, perhaps building a pallets around your favorite color would be preferable to you.

3) What to avoid: logos, loud patterns, very trendy clothing. These things are distracting, and will very quickly date your images.

4) At a loss for which colors? Look at the colors you use in your home. The colors you surround yourself with. If they make you happy, chances are you’ll like them in your photos.

5) Think “classic and timeless” pieces over trendy clothing, as these clothing choices will quickly make your portraits feel outdated.
