Everything is made new in the spring. Springs themselves are always so new, too. No spring is ever just like any other spring. It always has something of its own to be its peculiar sweetness.

What spring sweetness are you experiencing currently? What makes this spring different than last year?
For me, we had a very mild winter where I live, and that has alleviated a lot of the angst I usually feel this time of year.
This spring my gram other turned 80 years old , and we celebrated in style.
This spring, my oldest son turns 18, graduates, and starts working full time, and will also begin the next chapter of his education.
Changes, celebrations.
Finding new rhythms for family time.
Hope and Renewal.
Loss .
Because rarely is life clear cut enough to be all bitter or all sweet. We are grieving as well as celebrating. Maybe this shouldn’t surprise me, yet often it does.
