Sycamore trees bark appears white in the winter , and they like to grow by water. My grandfather taught me this a good decade ago. He’s been gone two years. But when I see beautiful white trees, I think of him. And I’m reminded that quietly, gently, and Persistently teaching those around us has the potential to make a difference. Even in the small things.
Kindly, gently teaching those around us will have a far greater Effect than a dull dry textbook could bring about.
What do you know?
To whom can you impart this knowledge?
Gently. Sweetly. Never in a manner of patronizing superiority.
What are we doing, if not creating a legacy in the hearts of those who love us, even today?
